Heinsberg: For the fourth time, SBH Tiefbautechnik GmbH has organised the SBH Golf Trophy. The tournament for customers, business partners and friends of the company already has become a popular meeting place. Also this year, the 76 international participants gave their best to win one of the attractive prizes on one of the four most difficult courses in Germany. After four and a half hours playing time and 6km walk on the beautiful 18 hole course, it was clear who the lucky winners were.
Also this year, the tournament was carried out for the benfit of Charity. Managing Director, Wolfgang Deussen and participants from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Italy and USA collected in total about 4.000,-- EURO in favour of the “Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder e.V.” (association for the aid of children with cancer).
Wolfgang Deussen himself rounded up the sum to 7.000 Euro. Willjo Caron accepted the check with great gratitude and pride. He said, that the company SBH Tiefbautechnik GmbH with Wolfgang Deussen ahead, it not unknown in regard to the aid for children with cancer. Due to generous donations from SBH, the association was able to help children with cancer. Because of generous donations of the company, the association has been able to provide the children with great help.
SBH Tiefbautechnik GmbH produces shoring systems for civil engineering applications at its Heinsberg plant. The equipment is used to shore up trench walls, protecting the workforce from trench collapses. The company is a global market leader and a major exporter. SBH's annual golf tournament is designed to build customer relationships outside the course of day-to-day business. "We're delighted that so many of our international customers and partners managed to join us again in Heinsberg and at the Wildenrath golf club to cultivate relationships and enjoy a game of golf together while giving generously to a good cause," said Wolfgang Deussen.
At the prizegiving ceremony and social gathering in the Wildenrath clubhouse, tournament participants expressed delight at the good weather and the superb organisation, for which we can thank the golf club's management. Many participants have already promised to attend next year's tournament. |
